AWESOME product at a great value! At first I was skeptical because the weight of the item was not in the description and the weight on the shipping order was less then what it should have weighed for 5.3lb density foam. After inquiring with the company and weighing the package when it arrived, I found out that they pay a flat rate for the package and it indeed weighed more then the shipping order stated. It was the correct weight for 5.3lb density memory foam. This had absolutely NO SMELL like you hear with some foams. It obviously has an odor, but it is nothing offensive, very light and can only be smelled when you put your nose to it and it doesn't fill the room. It is equal in quality to a Tempurpedic as I have one to compare it to. If you are looking for a foam topper with a density and feel of a Tempurpedic or other high 5.3lb density foam, then this is the best vaule on the web.

I had purchased a memory foam mattress with 2&1/2" of 3lb. density memory foam on top that was a bit too firm for side sleeping, so after much research I decided on this topper. Oh my goodness, did it ever work! I'm sure I now have one of the most comfortable beds in existence. After 5 spine surgeries I was searching for an affordable combination, and I'm sure glad I found this! It arrived within a week and I knew right away by touching it that it was the real thing. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who wants to make a firm bed more comfortable. I would recommend allowing it to air out for a day or two, maybe with a fan blowing on it. The latex smell was not overwhelming, but is noticeable at first. This is an AWESOME product!

This foam came quickly in a pretty large box for a single bed topper. There was a reason: It was not squeezed to nothing for the trip. No waiting for it to go back up to full size ezcept perhaps an hour. There was a bag at each end and both were the sizeof the foam. The foam was only compressed to perhaps and inch and a half. I did not notice ANY chemical smell but my husband is sensitive so I left it on the porch for two days. That took care of any smell, even to his sensitive nose.
The topper is very supportive and responsive. I got it from Amazon to go with the Sleep Shop bed which has 5 inches of memory foam, some HD and the rest 5lb density. This was added to bring my bed up to the height of my husband's side. It has not changed the feel of the foam at all. It is still cushy without being mushy.
