This foam bed is rated as an oversize shipping box by any shipping company, the estimated S&H cost for standard shipping is too high. Mostly, we ought to compress the foam bed into an allowable oversize shipping box in order to lower the shipping rate. So, after you receive the delivery package and open the security plastic bags, please allow a few hours so that the foam bed has enough time to be expanded back to its original shape. Lightweight, comfortable & the cover material is nice. It is basically as described, however, the length of the sleeper part of it is a little deceiving. The bolster that makes up the chair back is actually upright when the chair is unfolded so it isn't laying flat when used as a bed (as shown in the picture). The actual flat surface is 64 inches and the additional 6 inches to make 70 is the bolster's width. The bolster is at least 4-5 inches higher than the surface of the bed & could interfere with your pillow. I'm 5' 4" & it is fine as a bed for me, but I'm not sure someone taller than that might be as comfortable, since their feet may be hanging off the end. It's for this, that I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars. A Quick Note: it was vacuum packed to reduce its shipping size (cost savings), but I opened it and laid it flat in the morning before work and when I returned later that day, it was its original shape. All in all, I like the product.

This item is OK but the photo exaggerates the size of it. It is about the size of a kid's chair and no where near the size of a futon as the picture implies. Make sure you look at the dimensions. I know I should have, but I just skimmed over the description and thought it was 70 inches wide and 30 inches (out from the wall) when folded up as a couch as the picture kinda implies, but it is ONLY 70 inches long when unfolded as a bed and 30 inches wide. WHEN IN THE FOLDED UP POSITION AS THE TOP PART OF THE PICTURE, IT IS BASICALLY 30 INCHES SQUARE. Still debating whether this is false advertising or my not looking into more detail at the product, but the more I think about it, it seemed misleading to get me to think I was getting a futon sized sized seat. If I had known this I would have invested my money in a Futon. To much of a pain to send back so I can only deal with the power of the web review.
