I'm a Soldier deployed in Afghanistan and I bought this to put on my mattress (believe it or not we don't get any Sealy Posturpedics out here) and it's amazing! It's so comfortable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs to get a mattress pad.

Right out of the bag, the pad had several tears. I've included pictures here. I haven't installed it yet. I'm still airing out the strong chemical odor--day two-as the manufacturer's directions suggest.. Will write more later.
Update: have had it for over a month now. My kid says there is no difference in sleeping comfort. The pad is about an inch short on both sides so it puckers and is quite visible under the fitted sheet. The foam is very soft so it squishes down pretty easily offering little support. All in all, I'd go with something else.

My kids were complaining that their beds weren't comfortable. I wasn't about to buy all new beds, so I searched around for an alternative and found this. It's great. They love their beds now and say they sleep better. Some reviewers have mentioned the smell. I would plan on at least a couple days to air these out before you put them on the beds. After that there's still a faint odor, but it's not terrible. As for function, they are soft and comfortable. Just what the doctor ordered.
