I always wash bedding before using. . .this mattress pad barely fit into our large capacity washer.
Washed on "gentle" as instructed. When I went to remove it from the washer, it was sopping wet. Tried to dry it on low per instructions--impossible. The padding is all matted up, the lining (paper?) ripped, and "padding" is falling out like shredded cotton balls.
