We purchased this for our sleep number bed to add an extra layer of cuhioning, yes it has a smell when it comes to your house, but airing it for about 24 hours should take care of that problem. That being said it has made an incredible difference for us in the comfort level of the bed. We opted for a one step up from the bottom sleep number bed thinking that we could add a layer of memory foam for alot less than the cost of the superior sleep number and we made a good decision. We are in our 50's and have more trouble sleeping with out waking to shift position at night. The first time we slept on this, I didn't move the entire night. We have had this since this summer and it still feels like heaven when I lay down at night. I highly recommend this product and am considering ordering a second for the holidays when our children come home to make the beds in the other rooms just as comfortable.

I purchased this product after reading reviews for many mattress toppers.
It's like having a new bed. There was no smell as described by some products. I don't notice the bed being hotter as described by some products and it is extremely comfortable. I aired it for 24 hours and placed it on the bed. Glad I purchased it.

Helps With Sleep, Some Problems,

I am currently sleeping in a twin bed during my lengthy stay in Afghanistan. The mattresses out here are HORRID and I would have to wake up several times in the night to move from where a spring was poking into my back. I ordered this because I was spoiled with my pillow top mattress, and wanted something to help me sleep better.
The moment I unrolled it and laid on my bed I noticed a difference. I thought that the different sections (smaller blocks and bigger blocks on the pattern) would bother me, but I sunk right in.
For some reason, only lately (I've had it for five months) it keeps coming bunched up in the middle and where I lay my head. It gets so bad if I don't fix it when I first notice it the mattress topper will take the sheet off of my bed. I fix it almost 2-3 times a week, which can get really annoying.
