What I liked about the Luna Box Spring Encasements is they use the same material on the box spring encasement as they do on the mattress encasement. I had read reviews about other box spring encasements and how their material would tear easily. The box spring encasements were easy to apply and we are very happy with the quality. The fact they are Made in America is a big plus too! Do a little research on the internet (for instance, go to the University of Kentucky's web site and search "bed bugs") and you'll find out that these creatures can live a year, or more, without feeding.
