I love how thin it is and yet it is still waterproof. This is also a really good price. I recommend them to everyone. I do put them in the dryer but on a low setting. It seems like once you take them off the bed that undercoating is vunerable to puncture so I am pretty gentle with them once they are off the bed. My toddler has one for her bed and she is pretty rough on her big girl bed and it has held up to her abuse. We have two for our tempurpedic. I had a thicker waterproof barrier pad when I was pregnant with my first child and it was horrible. It made that plastic sound everytime you moved and it also held a ton of heat. You don't even know this one is on the bed. I just want to report that the item description states it is "100 percent natural cotton fiber". After viewing the same item on another website which stated the terry cloth was 80% cotton, 20% polyester, I called the manuracturer, Southern Textiles. They confirmed that the fabric is NOT 100% cotton. So if that matters to you, beware of the advertising. (since I had to "rate" it to leave these comments, I gave it 3 stars...neither good nor bad) |
