The fleecy exposed wool pad creates an insulating layer that helps to regulate body temperature and controls moisture throughout the night, creating a fresh, dry sleep environment that repels common allergens and bacteria. This review is from: Natura Wool On Top Mattress Pad, Twin
I bought this based on the language Natura puts in it's advertisement. Specifically, it says that the mattress pad acts as an "insulating barrier" that "regulates body temperature." If you're a hot sleeper then this product isn't going to help you that much as I learned. When I called to discuss this with the seller I was told that the mattress pad was really neutral, and allowed stored up heat from my mattress to be directed back up to me through the mattress pad. Not exactly the temperature regulation I had in mind. If you're going to buy a wool mattress pad, buy the Snugfleece. I know DreamSoft Bedware sells it and I believe there is a 30-day money back guarantee if it doesn't work for you. Or you might try an Outlast product that actually does what it claims it does. I haven't been impressed with Natura at all.
