This pad is way more than expected.Have been shopping pillow-top matresses after sleeping wonderfully on one at a B&B.Thought..."why not try a Pillow-top pad first since the old mattress is in good shape".Very glad we did. This pad is sooooo comfy.Haven't slept this well in ages.It fits perfectly over our thick mattress and doesn't slip.Never felt the seams between squares even though they look like you might.I'd recommend taking to a commercial laundramat..It would make a pretty hefty load.BA Schultz Sandpoint Idaho

Comment: I bought this to give us some relief from the heat of our memory foam mattress. We are roasting! Must be the "microplush" which is wonderfully soft and comfortable other than the heat issue. Looking forward to using it in Winter but even up here in Maine with the A/C on it's too hot for summertime. Putting it away for now, but not unhappy I bought it.

Comment: Remember the fairy tale "The Princess and the Pea?" A member of my family IS the princess. Her queen sized mattress, less that 18 months old, was getting more uncomfortable every night. I spent hours searching web sites for a mattress "topper" -- but I didn't want to spend $200-$300 for one! My search on Amazon led me to the Pike Street Overfilled Ultra Soft Microplush Queen Mattress Pad. The reviews were very positive about this product, the price was right, so I crossed my fingers and ordered it.
I can report that after about one month, "The Princess" is now sleeping very well, and I am relieved. The mattress pad fits perfectly, doesn't slip, fluffs up with a good shake, and following instructions on the attached tag, it is washable!

Comment: very nice topper. have slept on it a few weeks and really like it. very comfortable w/o being too soft. great buy for the money.
