I read the reviews and since most were positive, I figured I'd buy it from the photo. Unfortunately the description and photo are quite misleading. Photo makes item look super thick and plush - it's not. To send back and pay shipping is just not worth it.
It's really nothing more than a mattress pad. It's not puffy and full at all. I don't know how some reviewers can say it gives life to their worn mattress. My mattress is only 2 months old but too firm.

It is thicker than other bed pads, but not as thick as I expected. Quite cushy and comfortable to sleep on. Easy to put on the bed.

I was shopping for a mattress pad for my son, a soldier stationed in Iraq, as the worn out Army mattresses are very uncomfortable and I thought a softer top might help. Although the reviews were just so-so, I chose this mattress pad because it looked fluffier in the photo than other pads I looked at. I had the pad shipped directly to my son so I never actually saw it, and could only hope it was a good product and packed well enough to get there in one piece.
I have to say I am VERY satisfied with my purchase! It arrived intact, in a timely manner and, most importantly, my son said it is "SOOO nice" it makes his bed "feel like it's full of soft cotton!" He was amazed at the difference this mattress pad made, and just knowing it makes his life a little easier over there makes it worth twice the price to me!
If this mattress pad can make a lumpy old Army mattress feel like soft cotton, you know it's an outstanding product!
