Serta Luxurious Electric Heated Plush Top Mattress Pad - Start saving on your energy bill when you lower your thermostat and stay comfy with the all over penetrating warmth of this low-voltage mattress pad. We've designed an electric mattress pad that not only warms your bed, but also rejuvenates it. This incredible pad starts with ultra-plush Micro-Velour fabric on top and a 250-thread count cotton shell for amazing softness and comfort, but that's just one of the wonderful features of this pad. Constructed within the pad is the patented Safe and Warm low-voltage technology. This low-voltage mattress pad includes a small power supply box that changes 120-volt AC home current into non-hazardous low-voltage DC current (very similar to a battery) to provide warmth, protection and safety even if the pad becomes wet. Unlike other warming pads with their thick bulky wires, the wires in the Serta pads are so small and thin; they are virtually unnoticeable. During construction we place the thin wires 3-inch apart and evenly distribute them from head to toe. The benefit to you is a pad that gives more of an even heat and has no annoying hot or cold spots. The twin size pad comes standard with one easy to read, easy to turn, non-slip computerized controller to adjust the temperature of the pad. A giant backlit display with auto dimming feature provides more convenience for night time adjustments with out having to turn on the lights. For cozy sheets before bed time, it has an automatic pre-heat and hold feature. You simply turn it on and the pad will warm up on HI until it reaches the temperature that you pre set your dial on and then adjusts itself to hold it there. For your safety, convenience and power conservation it has an automatic shut off feature that will shut the pad off after 10-hour just in case you forget. It also comes standard with built in over-temperature protection for that extra bit of safety and peace of mind.

I just received this product yesterday. Unfortunately, the mattress pad is supposed to include two power supply and controller units when selecting a queen size mattress pad, and I only received one unit. Both are needed to operate the mattress pad. I called the toll free number included with the product for the retailer several times and the calls always go directly to voicemail where you receive a message that they will call you back within 2 business days. UGH. I can't get through to a customer service rep and now have to sit back and wait to see if they actually return my call. I'll provide an update later. Hopefully, my order is a fluke but I want anyone considering purchasing this item to be aware. It's bad enough that the shipment was missing the item but to not be able to reach a customer service rep during their posted hours after repeated phone calls is unacceptable.

My wife and I have used the king-size version of this product for two years now and we love it. It's easy to clean, and neither of us is ever aware of the wires in the product. We bought this as a gift for her Mother, since she complained about her feet getting cold in her bed at home.

The low voltage isolated power supply makes me more confident of safety--our family once experienced a short in a line-voltage electric blanket which started a fire! The only negative I can report is that the cord between the controllers and the connectors could be a couple of feet longer. It limits placement options, but should be just fine on a bedside table.

This is a great product. I put it on my bed and it will keep you plenty warm even on lower settings. I put it on 4 setting and I was nice and warm so I can tell you that if you put it on high you will bake. lol. I high recommend this product. I put it on my mattress under my bottom sheet as to keep it clean and you can tell its there but when using it you will keep nice and toasty warm.. ATTT
