Sleep Better 5-Inch Firm Mattress Topper

I purchased one of these in Full size for a Full size bed in my guest room and was shocked at what I saw when I openned the wrapping. The mattress topper was not even close to being the right size and it was heavily deformed. It came with a note saying it will expand once out of the wrapper so I openned it a week before planning to put it on the bed and it never expanded. To describe what it looked like after a week of letting it lay flat on a flat surface the best I could describe it was like a three fold wallet unfolded. It had very thick material were the folds would be but everywhere else it was thin, well below the 5 inches it was supposed to be in the areas it was think it was really thick, a lot more than 5 inches and no matter how I placed it on the bed the thick fold area was uncomfortable to lay on.
Instead of trying to roll it back up and returning it I cut it up and am using it for beds for my dogs. Save your money and don't buy one of these unless you have pets that...Read more

I got this as a base for my custom mattress with a memory foam topper on top, and I feel that it's already lost it's firmness after 6 months. I'm probably going to replace it with an extra firm foam base or a regular mattress within a year.
