This review is from: Sunbeam Imperial Comfort Cal King Heated Mattress Pad (Kitchen) I buy most of my things online and this is my first ever review. I just thought other potential customers might like to know you will not get the controller in the picture. What you will get works good, but the pictured controller implies zone heating for your feet seperate from your head etc. Not so. Still has preheat and timer, and bottom line it keeps you plenty warm. I just don't think there is an excuse for not having the correct picture to represent the product. I also bought two twin size for the kids, and they love them, they have very simple controls which the add stated they would, and work excellent. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Murky's Mom (Sunnyvale, California) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Sunbeam Imperial Comfort Cal King Heated Mattress Pad (Kitchen) We had a heated mattress pad where one side gave out after several years - and didn't want to go through the winter without one.
This one is perfect, although we couldn't put the cords at the foot of the bed [as specified] because our bed frame would have squeezed them. Solved that by putting them at the head of the bed, and reversing the controls. Sure, there's the box at the top of the mattress, but it's not really bothersome. Preheat is fast and great - but I don't need it on for the length of time it's pre-programmed for. I can't find a way to select a temp when the preheat is on, so have to turn the unit on and off to get the temp setting. A minor programming 'flaw', but easy to deal with. |
